Insurance Policies
Umbrella Insurance
An Umbrella Insurance policy provides liability coverage beyond the limits of your other insurance policies such as auto or homeowners insurance policies. It acts as a protective shield, adding an extra layer of financial security in the event of a lawsuit or significant claim. Umbrella Insurance offers the following important benefits:
- Increased Liability Protection
- Comprehensive Coverage
- Worldwide Coverage
- Legal Defense Costs
- Peace of Mind
Bear River Mutual can write Umbrella liability limits of $1 million or $2 million. Speak with one of our agents to determine which coverage is best for your needs
Auto Insurance
Auto insurance provides drivers with protection from accidents or other vehicle related occurrences on your personal vehicle. Each state, including Utah, has a minimum amount of coverage required.
Liability Coverage
- Bodily Injury Liability: This coverage pays for costs related to another person's injuries or death in an automobile accident when the driver is at fault.
- Property Damage Liability: This coverage pays for damage done by the driver to another person's property while driving.
- Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Coverage: This coverage pays for costs incurred by driver if injured by someone without auto insurance or insufficient coverage.
Physical Damage Coverage
- Collision: This coverage pays for damage to the driver’s vehicle from colliding with another vehicle or object.
- Comprehensive: This coverage pays for damage to the driver’s vehicle for other causes including fire, weather or theft.
Both Comprehensive and Collision coverage are subject to a deductible and may be required by a lender if there is a loan on the vehicle.
Personal Injury Protection
- PIP: Regardless of who is at fault, PIP covers medical expenses for you and your passengers after an accident. It can also cover lost wages and other related expenses.
Other coverages available include 24/7 Towing and Roadside Assistance as well as rental car reimbursement.
